The forgotten teddy bear (and the lesson for your business)

Hello and welcome to this week's new subscribers 💚

Preparing for a holiday with two children under 4 years old… is an Olympic sport.

If I pack at the last minute, I end up with a ton of useless clothes… and especially without the famous stuffed animal that my son never lets go of!

The result?

Crises, tears, and me running around a seaside resort on day 1 of the holidays to urgently buy things we already had at home.

So now I have a rock-solid checklist. I tick things off, I fold them, I put them away — and in an hour, everything is ready. Most importantly, my brain isn't overloaded anymore: I can finally think about the really important things … like where we'll get our first ice cream on one of the beaches in Brittany!

Your business is exactly the same.

Many CEOs and solopreneurs tell me:

"If I implement processes, I'll lose my creativity."
"I don't want my business to become a machine."
"I operate on instinct; I don't want to be confined by systems."

But in reality… it’s quite the opposite.

Processes don't stifle your creativity. They unleash it.

A business without structure is a business that relies on your memory, your energy, and your time.

Every day, you have to reinvent the wheel, answer the same questions from your team or your clients, and chase after emergencies.

Results :

  • Your brain is overloaded.
  • You're tired of repeating the same things over and over again .
  • You no longer find time to innovate.
  • Your creative ideas are being put on hold because the operational side needs to be managed first.

Good systems aren't there to confine you.

They create a clear framework where repetitive tasks run themselves, allowing you to focus on… what only you can create.

Let's take the story of Céline and Golden Hire

When Céline , founder of Golden Hire (a recruitment agency specializing in infopreneurship), contacted me in February, she was on the verge of exhaustion.

She worked 50 hours a week , without a real break, making decisions in a hurry, and with a constant feeling of "chasing after everything" .

She didn't lack clients, quite the opposite!

She lacked structure.

If you'd like to learn more about Céline's case, we've made a video testimony here.

What we have put in place:

  • A 360° audit to identify the real roadblocks.
  • A prioritized 6-month roadmap , with high-impact actions.
  • A customized Notion space to centralize information, processes and project monitoring.
  • Automation for onboarding clients and freelancers on its team.
  • Clear KPIs to manage finances and operations.
  • A clarification of the offer and pricing , with smoother team management.

Result ?

Céline went from 50 hours to 30 hours/week , was able to go on vacation with peace of mind, and increased her turnover… all while reducing her mental workload.

She regained clarity , calm , and control .

And above all: more space to develop her vision.

The golden rule: "A framework that supports, not one that confines."

A process is like a musical score:

It provides structure, but it lets you play your own melody.

  • The systems manage the repetitive tasks and provide a reassuring framework for your team.
  • You, you keep mental space for strategy , creativity , and inspiration.

And what about you in your business?

Are you currently bearing the entire burden of recurring tasks ,
or have you put in place a framework that frees you up?

What could you automate or delegate to regain creativity and ideas?

I'd be curious to read your response.
